ITV Celebrity Big Brother contestant has four items confiscated as he attempts to enter the house.

Celebrity Big Brother star Colson Smith has revealed the items he was banned from taking into the house last year. The Coronation Street competed on the edition of the star studded reality TV show.

The 26-year-old made it to the final of the ITV programme and finished in third place. His Corrie co-star and On the Sofa podcast host, Jack P Shepherd, is taking on the ultimate social experiment this year.

Colson has been reacting to Jack’s stint on the house on the latest episode On The Sofa with co-host Ben Price. Colson lifted the lid on some behind the scenes secrets as he revealed his suitcase was inspected prior to entering the house by a chaperone named Scott.

Colson said: “Scott took four items off me.” One of these items was his favourite baseball cap as it featured a brand name. He added: “I was already like this is a nightmare because I’m going to have to go on TV with s*** hair.'”

“They got rid of a couple of tops that all had branding on, then we repacked.” Colson also had to lose some socks and he had to be supplied with new unbranded unbranded workout clothes from Primark because he was left with “nothing”.

Jack, who plays David Platt in Corrie, survived being nominated for eviction this week. His social platforms are being run by his fiancee, Hanni Treweek, while he is in Big Brother, who thanked the public for backing the soap star.

A post said: “Thank you to everyone who voted to save Jack!!! here’s to more tea drinking, dad dancing and our favourite place to see him in the @bbuk diary room.

The post added: “Jack is a breath of fresh air in the house, giving us what we need, plenty of laughter and we’re so here for it.” People are backing Jack to go all the way.

Stella said: “Jack is getting every single one of my votes . I love him” Tom added: “Team Jack!! Jack for the win!!” Abi added: “They’ll not bother nominating him now the public have saved him twice.”

Dave posted: “I’m glad Jack stay last night and all I can say is keep putting your 5 votes on him and tell your friends and family to do the same and you never know he might just win the show”

Tracy added: “Love You Jack/David, Hope you win.” Sue posted: “Love Jack, he’s my winner.”

Diane added: “Keep going Jack, you’ll get my votes every time”
