Chantelle Houghton, former Celebrity Big Brother winner, has spilled the tea on one potential 2025 housemate, branding him the “rudest person” she’s ever encountered.
The reality TV star recalled a past encounter with Coronation Street’s Jack P. Shepherd to the Daily Star., in partnership with WDW Bingo, saying: “So I had an experience with him many, many years ago.
“If he is that person who I met years ago, he should not be going into that Big Brother house, because he is going to out himself to the public.”
She went on to describe the incident: “Because basically, I was going on a TV show. We were sitting in the green room, the waiting room, and I was there with Ricky Tomlinson from the Royle Family and Jason Donovan.
“Jack P Shepherd walked in, and he was the rudest person I’ve ever met in this entire industry. And I feel like I’ve met a lot of people.
“Like, real hard ones, and, you know, middle and average celebs too. And he was just so rude, and Jason Donovan just couldn’t believe it either. So, yeah, I really will be interested to see if he goes on.”
Nearly two decades since her rise to fame on CBB, Chantelle has shifted her focus to personal ventures, stepping away from the reality TV spotlight.
During lockdown, she earned some extra income working with The Body Shop, but now she’s taking the entrepreneurial leap with the launch of her own wellness brand.
Chantelle, at 41, opened up about her new venture, sharing: “So basically, during lockdown I was just really bored. Obviously, most things came to a big, big halt. And I was just scrolling through social media at the time, and this thing came up about the Body Shop.
“And as a little girl, I loved the Body Shop, and it was just basically an offer to work from home. So it was never like a job for me as such. It was just something to try and fill my mind with.
“I only did it for a short period of time, but I do love their products. So yeah, I’m excited to have my own thing going on. So yeah, it’s a ‘watch this space’ kind of thing.
“For as long as I can remember I’ve been into wellness and beauty, and so many people are now into eco-friendly, natural products. I’m also vegan.
“I’ve been vegetarian since I was seven and I’ve been vegan for the last 15 years! So I’m going to be launching a wellness brand, beauty-related, very soon. But I can’t really talk much about it at the moment, because I’ve not planned the launch yet, etc. So that’s what I’m working on at the moment!”.
