EastEnders legend Patsy Palmer has teased the idea of a soap swap, revealing her thoughts to Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd while in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
The actress, known for her fiery portrayal of Bianca Jackson, suggested she might fancy a stint on the Corrie cobbles and even asked Jack to help her perfect a northern accent.
Chatting in the kitchen, Patsy playfully proposed joining forces with Jack’s character, David Platt, asking him to coach her in saying: “Let’s have a bit of cake and some tea.” Jack appeared to be quite taken with her attempt as he casually stirred his tea.
Patsy, who first graced Albert Square in 1993, has seen her character come and go from Walford over the years and she recently filmed her latest exit scenes which are set to air soon.
She’s previously expressed how it’s a “shame” she hasn’t been able to shake off her Bianca persona, noting that despite her on-screen image, she’s actually quite laid-back.

“I think fans might think I’m quite feisty because of Bianca but I’m not really, I’m quite a calm person,” she shared before entering the reality TV show, adding that her EastEnders colleagues often comment on the positive energy she brings to the set, reports the Mirror.
She expressed her eagerness to show people how different she is from her character. “I’ve got my life together!” she chuckled.
“[Bianca] can’t get her life together. She’s in fight or flight. “I’m not in fight or flight. I’m not really zen, but I do like to try my best to follow that way of life, which is so different from the drama in her life!”

During Monday’s (April 14) show, the housemates once again entered the diary room to make their nominations for the latest eviction.
This follows Mickey Rourke’s removal from the show due to his poor behaviour.
The Hollywood actor’s pay is expected to be “slashed” following his early departure.
On Saturday (April 12) night, it was announced that the actor had been evicted from the house after a very tense first week.
Sitting in the Diary Room after being asked to leave, the 72 year old star of The Wrestler didn’t resist and implied that the desire for him to leave was mutual. “I went over the line, you know, I did wrong,” he admitted.”

“I guess, like they say, I’m a work in progress. I just wanna pack my bags and leave, you know. I wanted to leave yesterday actually but I wasn’t chosen.”
He was initially the highest-paid star on the show, with a whopping £500,000 salary. However, according to The Sun, he will now receive only a fraction of his deal.
It’s suggested he will receive just £50,000 due to his contract being pro-rata despite entering the house for the money.
