Lucinda Light has revealed all about her exciting new venture after captivating audiences on Married at First Sight Australia.
The holistic counsellor and marriage celebrant became renowned for her wisdom, empathy, and mediation skills during her stint on the show’s eleventh season.
Riding the wave of her newfound fame, Lucinda quickly became a crowd favourite, leading to sold-out live shows across the UK and Ireland with ‘An Evening with Lucinda Light. ‘ Now, she is set to inspire with her debut book.
Her latest creation, ‘Shine Your Light’, is an interactive journal aimed at fostering richer relationships, including the one we have with ourselves.
Delighted with this milestone, Lucinda commented: “It’s such a deep honour really and truly. Coming off a reality show like Married at First Sight, I just feel very touched that people felt I had something worthy to say and interested in my story.”, reports the Mirror.
The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive for Lucinda’s work, with her revealing: “I feel like the book is a beautiful companion and the feedback so far has been great. It’s only been out for a couple of days and it needed to go into a reprint of the second day, which is amazing and a good sign.”
She also admitted the last two months were hectic: “I think the last two months were stressful trying to get it over the line timing wise. I did all the illustrations myself and put a lot of pressure on myself to get it right.”
Lucinda has poured personal anecdotes into her writing, sharing: “It’s a little bit of an autobiography as I use a lot of my own stories and there’s lots of reveals about who I am and things I’ve learned along the way.
“I’ve had the most incredible just over year since Married at First Sight I feel extremely grateful and have so much more to share.”
Lucinda was matched with Timothy Smith by the MAFS experts for their social experiment, but unfortunately, it wasn’t a match made in heaven and she’s still on the hunt for Mr Right.
