Alesha Dixon and her long-term partner Azuka Ononye are reportedly still living together ‘for the sake of the kids’ following their shock split after 18 years together. The couple were together for almost two decades and welcomed children, Azura, 10, and Anaya, four, before going their separate ways last year.
It’s now reported that singer and Britain’s Got Talent star Alesha, 46, and her former partner, 44, are are still living under the same roof as they navigate their lives post-split. A source claimed to The Sun: “Alesha confirmed she’s split from Azuka and is navigating that as best she can. They are still living together for the sake of their family and are co-parenting.”

It’s also claimed that Alesha has jetted off to Jamaica for a well-deserved break amid the separation and has been joined by friends. The source added to the publication: “It was a great tonic and she had a fantastic time.”
After meeting in 2006, Alesha said she played “hard to get for about a year”. The pair reportedly tied the knot in secret around 2017, however, sadly, called time on their relationship last year, with pals of the couple saying they were ‘more like friends’, reports the Mirror.
Back in 2017, while on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show Christmas Special, Alesha sweetly referred to Azuka as her “lovely husband”. However, neither confirmed if a wedding took place. The couple met in 2006 following Alesha’s split from her first husband, So Solid Crew’s MC Harvey.

Opening up on the Jonathan Ross Show back in 2018, Alesha revealed how Azuka won her heart while she was couch-bound recovering from a foot operation. She said: “He was sleeping on the floor because I was on the couch, I couldn’t even get up the stairs. If he can carry me to the toilet then he’s a keeper.”
She continued: “I had the foot operation and I couldn’t walk and he was literally sleeping on the floor looking after me every day. I was just looking at him thinking: ‘That is for better or for worse isn’t it?’ I looked a state.”
Elsewhere in a heartfelt chat on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy mum podcast in 2020, Alesha delved deeper into their connection, declaring, “[Azuka] was the first person that I’d met, that I knew that we could have children together because of our values, our morals, our thinking aligned.”
