Victoria Beckham has given fans a rare glimpse into her family life, sharing a video of Cruz and David Beckham singing together in the kitchen which quickly led to comparisons between Cruz and his pop star mum.
The Beckhams are one of the most famous families in the world. It all started when former England and Manchester United footballer David Beckham married ‘Posh Spice’ Victoria Beckham in 1999. The couple went on to have four children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.
Despite their high-profile status, the Beckhams usually keep their family life under wraps, only occasionally sharing snippets on social media. However, Victoria recently delighted fans with a rare insight into their home life, and followers were quick to spot a striking similarity between her and her youngest son.
In the TikTok video, David, 49, is seen cooking at the stove when Cruz, 20, enters with a guitar and begins singing the 1983 hit song Islands in the Stream by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers.
Upon hearing Cruz behind him, David turns around and, with a broad grin, joins in the singing while continuing to cook in their £31 million London home’s modern kitchen.
The camera then pans to Harper, 17, sitting at a table, hiding her face from the camera but still joining in the song with her dad and older brother.
Victoria captioned the video “At home with the Beckhams,” which has been viewed over 14.4 million times in just two days.
Fans were quick to notice a significant similarity between Victoria and Cruz and took to the comments to discuss it.
“He’s got his mother’s vocals,” one person commented, while another added: “Cruz has a nice voice.
“Cruz has a beautiful voice and should do these videos a lot more and his dad also,” someone else remarked. Jedward couldn’t resist chipping in, joking: “Oasis have some competition.”
Cruz has recently shared his ambitions to replicate his mum’s musical success as he’s embarked on his own music career, having shared a clip of his singing on social media.
David Beckham’s culinary skills also caught the eye, with fans expressing their surprise that he chooses to cook despite being able to afford a private chef.
“The fact that David Beckham can afford a private chef but cooks himself,” noted an admirer. Another chimed in: “he cook, he sing, he is Loyal, David is PERFECT.”
