It meant the youngster could be left with her nan while the busy pair continued to work.

On the Parenting Hell podcast hosted by comics Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe, Stacey candidly shared: “She’s really hands-on and if she wasn’t on the scene, and I appreciate this isn’t always the way for many people, I think I would really struggle. I don’t think I’d be able to work actually.”

Stacey, 38, also reveled in the growing bond between her mum and Minnie, describing it as a key factor in their move from London to Merseyside. She said: “[It was] A mixture of reasons but primarily, she’s our nanny. And I wanted the baby close to her nan and it’s a lovely relationship to nurture. The pair of them are thick as thieves. I don’t really exist when my mum’s around.”

Stacey and Kevin found love when they lifted Strictly Come Dancing’s famous Glitterball Trophy together in 2018. They officially confirmed they were together the following year, reports Edinburgh Live.

Professional dancer Kevin, 42, has previously revealed the pair took one look at their home and knew it was the right one for them. He told the ECHO: “Stacey loves looking at houses on the internet. Looking at interiors and stuff is her favourite thing to do.

“She just happened to have seen something she liked and thought ‘oh it’s not too far away from my mum’. We went and had a look and the second she walked in was like ‘I love it and I can really see us living here’. It all happened really quickly and we love it.”
