Megan Pickford shared her surprise in a new family update. She has been in a relationship with husband Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford for many years, and the couple married in March 2020.
Megan is a graduate of the University of Sunderland and regularly shares updates to her 140,000 Instagram followers. Pickford has been in good form for the club and country this season.
His goalkeeping heroics have helped Everton maintain their recent resurgence under David Moyes. Pickford is very likely to start again as the blues host Manchester United at Goodison Park this Saturday.
Pickford and Megan are proud parents to son Arlo and daughter Orla. In Megan’s latest Instagram post, the mum shared her disbelief that Arlo was now six years old.
Megan posted several pictures of Arlo’s birthday party, which took place at a bowling alley. Her son was also given a stunning four-layered birthday cake, decorated with bowling pins, footballs and crayons.
In the accompanying caption, Megan said: “Happy birthday to the apple of my eye. Where did the time go, so proud of you our angel beans, darling Arlo.”
The phrase ‘apple of my eye’ refers to something or someone that a person cherishes above all others. Megan was flooded with supports in the comments section after the announcement on Tuesday.
