Christine McGuinness confessed she ‘won’t be single forever’ as the former model prepares to throw herself back into the dating world. The 36-year-old split from ex-husband Paddy in 2022, with the couple sharing three children. While Christine spent this Valentine’s Day at home with their kids Felicity, Leo and Penelope.
She admitted she is ‘ready to go for it’ again despite still living with her former husband. Speaking to Closer at the TV Choice Awards, Christine said: “I spent Valentine’s with my three children. I normally forget or it’s not on my mind because I’m not really into cringey, cheesy stuff.
“I’m dating, but nothing serious – I’m focusing on myself and my children. If I meet someone though, I’m going to go for it. I’m hoping I won’t be single forever.”
Christine and TV star Paddy, 51, tied the knot in 2011. They announced their split after 11 years of marriage in 2022 but they decided to stay living together to ease the transition for their kids, all of whom are autistic.

The blonde star recently appeared in Celebrity Hunted, where she joined fellow celebrities like former Strictly star Giovanni Pernice, Blue singer Duncan James and Loose Women panellist Denise Welch in trying to evade being tracked down.
She told Closer: “We had the best time filming Celebrity Hunted. Duncan (James) is my best friend – he’s probably my only friend. He makes me laugh so much and is such a great friend.”
It comes after Christine laid bare the difficulties of co-parenting with Paddy as she admitted ‘it’s not easy’. She told new! magazine: “Co-parenting means that when he’s back, he’s entitled to his time and it’s good for the children – they love spending time together.

“So it makes sense for me to disappear for a couple of days and enjoy it.”
Christine said she will ‘really struggle’ when the time comes for her and Paddy to live in separate houses, adding that it will be a ‘massive shock’ to the family.
She said: “We’ve been separated over two years now, so inevitably it’s going to happen at some point (that they’re going to go on dates). We’re both very respectful of each other’s private lives and it’s each other’s business.” Christine added that even though the couple are divorced they have ‘never had an argument’.
