The Good Morning Britain star has announced that his wife Imogen has given birth to a baby girl as he shared a series of sweet photos and revealed her sweet name
Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford is beaming with joy as he and his wife Imogen have welcomed their adorable baby girl into the world. The doting dad took to Instagram to share the exciting news as he posted a heartwarming carousel of snaps featuring their tiny bundle of joy.
Overflowing with pride, Alex hailed his wife as “amazing” and praised her natural flair for motherhood, saying she’s “taking to motherhood like a duck to water”. He didn’t miss the chance to express his gratitude towards the NHS staff and Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital for their exceptional care, admitting he “couldn’t thank them enough”.
In his touching post, Alex wrote: “After what felt like forever she’s finally here! Camille Beresford arrived safely earlier this week and already has us wrapped around her little finger, already knows what she wants, and we both scream when the human milk machine powers down for a rare break.
“Mrs B was AMAZING and is doing incredible, taking to motherhood like a duck to water and I’m enjoying my new role as Chief Nappy Officer and before you ask, yes I’m on the ones and twos, whilst Cruz has gained his protective Big Brother wings.
“I really want to shout out the incredible team of midwives and doctors at Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital, especially Faisa who brought our little angel into this world with such calm and care! The NHS is quite simply amazing! Over the last 9 months I saw staff from all over the world constantly going the extra mile. I can’t thank you enough for keeping mum and baby safe xxxx #girldadgang #girldadenergy,” reports the Mirror.
The ITV celebrity’s famous mates were quick to hit the comments with well-wishes, with Charlene White sending her joy: “Yay! ! ! ! So so happy for you guys. Congratulations xx.” Ice-skating wonder Mark Hanretty from Dancing On Ice also chimed in: “Huge congratulations and lots of love!”
The GMB star tied the knot with his beloved Imogen amidst the sun-soaked splendour of Mallorca in September 2022, three years after his split from first wife Natalia Natkaniec. In an adorable moment, his son Cruz – who he shares with his ex-wife – took on the roles of ring bearer and his dapper mini best man.
Reflecting on the sparks that flew during their inaugural date in Bristol, Alex said: “When we met, it felt as if we’d known each other for ages. Holding hands and laughing together just came naturally.”
Despite the miles between London and Bristol, their romance blossomed, and an engagement soon followed. In an intimate chat with HELLO! magazine, Alex shared: “I’d been on my own for a while and was ready for a new relationship. But I was adamant I didn’t want to try a dating website. I’m of an age where before social media, you met a girl, took her phone number and called to invite her out.”
Revealing how he enquired amongst friends for a potential match, they humorously responded: “I do – but she’s way too good for you.”
He added: “We hit it off from the start. We talked every day about our shared values and goals, and our love for our families. We’ve always been on the same page.”
