Coleen Rooney has shared photos of a trip to Disneyland Paris with her family. The I’m a Celebrity runner-up took to Instagram to share the memories with followers.
The mum-of-four captioned her latest Instagram post: “Such a magical trip to @disneylandparis. We absolutely loved it” alongside a heart emoji. Wayne Rooney was among the commenters as he responded with a red love heart emoji.
Since leaving the I’m a Celebrity jungle in December, Coleen has been enjoying time with her family and last month enjoyed a date night with husband Wayne. The 38-year-old has been married to the former Everton FC striker since 2008 and they are the proud parents of four children.
The couple enjoyed a night away from parenting duties in January when they travelled down to London to watch a West End Show. Coleen shared snaps outside the Shaftesbury Theatre as they watched the musical adaptation of Mrs Doubtfire. The mum-of-four posted a photo alongside her husband outside the theatre, alongside the caption: “Date night.”
She shared a clip as Wayne wore the mask Mrs Doubtfire wears on the film. The I’m A Celebrity runner up was in stitches as her footballer husband did his best impression of the character made famous by Robin Williams’ iconic performance in the 1993 family film.
Fans of Coleen have sent her and the family well wishes following their trip to France. One fan said: “Love this such beautiful memories made. I can’t wait to take my boys in December.”
Another fan added: “Excellent exciting times together their faces.” More responses included “gorgeous memories forever” and “wow wow wow, what lovely photos and memories”.
The Instagram posts come after Coleen recently stepped back into the limelight. She told the Liverpool ECHO: “I had a lot of things going on in my life and my kids were only small. Now they are all getting that little bit older and I am ready to get back out there, do some work and media, which I’ve always enjoyed. My family always comes first and that was my main priority.”
Another reason the family have been able to enjoy a trip away is Wayne no longer having managerial commitments. On December 31, Wayne was let go by Championship side Plymouth after just seven months in charge.
A statement read: “Plymouth Argyle can confirm that the club and Head Coach Wayne Rooney have mutually agreed to part ways with immediate effect.”
