The host, who is married to Aljaž Škorjanec, was hailed as stars said they will miss it
Strictly Come Dancing’s Janette Manrara was flooded with praise as she confirmed the end of the live tour. The 41-year-old has hosted the live across the country over the past month.
The curtain came down on the 22nd season last night with the final two shows at London’s O2 Arena. Janette took to Instagram after the performance to reflect on the tour ahead of the final show.
She said: “Tour 2025, that’s a wrap. Thank YOU ALL for coming and dancing with us! We have loved it! And like I always say, “there is always time for one more dance!”
The stars of the tour took to the comments after the update as Carlos Gu said: “You’ve been such brilliant!! What’s a marvellous job you’ve done. Really proud. X”
Nancy Xu commented: “You are super star.” Jamie Borthwick, who won the glitterball in the last show of the tour said, Gonna miss ‘the face’ when asking Al to give you a drum roll.”
Fans were in disbelief at how quick the tour had come to an end. Gayle said: “Gosh that was quick! Gorgeous gorgeous x” Isabelle said: “I loved watching it in the O2 thank you for an amazing experience.”
Janette is married to Aljaž Škorjanec, who was crowned the tour winner as he won over 20 glitterballs with his partner, Tasha Ghouri. Aljaž reflected on the tour as he issued a gushing tribute to Love Island star Tasha.
He siad: “Partner! It has been an absolute JOY dancing with you from day one. Memories and dances created that will last a lifetime. Thank you for everything! Let’s do this one last time.”
Janette took to the comments and said: “Enjoy you two.” Fans also took to the comments to praise the tour winners after Aljaž’s heartfelt social media update.
Emily said: “Not ready for it to be over, dream team.” Claire commented: “You were amazing last night, both dances blew me away! Worthy winners.”
