Coleen Rooney was in stitches as she shared an update of her date night with Wayne. The 38-year-old has been married to the former Everton FC striker since 2008.

They are the proud parents of four children and Coleen regularly shares updates from their happy family life. The couple enjoyed a night away from parenting duties yesterday when they travelled down to London to watch a West End Show.

Coleen shared snaps outside the Shaftesbury Theatre as they watched the musical adaptation of Mrs Doubtfire. The mum-of-four posted a photo alongside her husband outside the theatre, alongside the caption: “Date night.”

She added: “Really enjoyed the show. Amazing cast, lots of laughs throughout.” Coleen also revealed there were lots of laughs afterwards as the two received met the cast following the performance.

She shared a clip as Wayne donned the mask the Mrs Doubtfire character wears in the show. The I’m A Celebrity runner up was in stitches as her footballer husband did his best impression of the character made famous by Robin Williams’ iconic performance in the 1993 family film.

People in the short clip can be heard saying “oh my God” as the English football legend puts on the outfit. Doing his best impersonation, the 39-year-old looked at the camera and said: “Hello my dears.”

Coleen enjoyed a trip to London after a busy period that saw her launch a new health and wellness range with Applied Nutrition last week. Wayne was there to support Coleen at the launch event for the new products at Liverpool ONE.

Merseyside will always hold a special place in Coleen’s heart and this is why it was the only place she could launch her new Applied Nutrition range as going back to her beginnings was the perfect place to embark on a new venture. She told the ECHO in an exclusive interview at the event: “I am now delivering what I use to the public and what better place to do that in than Liverpool.”

Coleen has thrown herself back into the limelight over recent months after a period away from the public eye. Since her claims about Rebekah Vardy in the high profile Wagatha Christie libel trial were ruled to be “substantially true”, the Croxteth native has released a Disney+ documentary, an autobiography, competed on I’m A Celebrity and has now launched a new wellness range with Applied Nutrition. Coleen told the ECHO the decision to put herself back in the spotlight felt like a natural progression.

She said: “I had a lot of things going on in my life and my kids were only small. Now they are all getting that little bit older and I am ready to get back out there, do some work and media, which I’ve always enjoyed. My family always comes first and that was my main priority.”

Coleen is excited to see what the future brings as she looks forward to the next chapter of her life and her ambassadorial role with the Liverpool based company, Applied Nutrition. She said: “This is my main priority at the minute. We’ve just got Christmas out of the way and I’m hoping this is a huge success and everyone loves it as much as I do. And then we’ve got a few more things in the pipeline, but I’m not revealing anything yet.”
