Stephanie Davis has been flooded with support after announcing she has given birth to a second child. She welcomed her son to the world with partner Joe McKalroy.
Steph, from Prescot, has been sharing regularly pregnancy updates with her social media followers and last night Joe shared the exciting news on Instagram, in a joint statement with the former Coronation Street actress.
He said: “Welcome to the world my beautiful baby boy Samuel McKalroy. Named after your uncle the one and only who will always weigh heavy on my heart I wish so much that he could’ve met you and cherished you as much as I do.
“It has been a traumatic experience but you are finally here in our arms. I never thought I could possibly love your mummy anymore than I already do but this is just so special and an unconditional love I cannot explain with words. @stephaniedavis88 I love you more than you will ever know.”
After the heartwarming message, Steph replied: “Sobbing reading this, my heart. I love you more than anything in this world. I couldn’t love you more I’m so blessed to have you as a daddy to our boys. You carried me though that, it was so tough. I love you more than you will ever know.”
Steph announced the pregnancy back in August 2024. In a chat with OK! magazine, the 31-year-old expressed her joy about the new addition to their family. She said: “I did the pregnancy test at my mother-in-law’s. I could not believe it. I’ve done a million tests over the past two years and videoed them the one time I didn’t, it was positive!”
Fans replied to the birth announcement with messages of support. Paula said: “Oh amazing! I’ve been stalking Instagram for this, I’m so happy to see he’s arrived safely. Congratulations to you both!” And Lauren added “Congratulations guys! he is beautiful! Wishing Steph a speedy recovery, sending lots of love to you all! Enjoy the baby bubble.”

Earlier this month, the mum-of-two shared a happy birthday message to her son Caben-Albi who will share a birth month with his brother. She said: “Thank you for making me the woman I am today. You are the most loving, caring, funny, talented, unique special little boy. I still look at you and can’t believe your mine, you are everything, a real Angel sent from above.”
