!, Lauryn Goodman invites us into her gorgeous East Sussex home, which she shares with her two children, four year old son Kairo and 19-month-old daughter Kinara. The kids’ dad is Lauryn’s ex, former Manchester City star Kyle Walker.
The stunning £2.4million four-bedroom property has been transformed, with the help of Lauryn’s interior designer Mel of Blyth Designs into a luxury mansion featuring bespoke cabinets, media walls and sleek panelled sections. The kitchen, where Lauryn and the kids love to bake, is decked out in shades of grey, with a large island at its heart and a beautiful chandelier hanging above it.

Lauryn’s flair for design is evident throughout the house, with floor-to-ceiling luxury curtains, a bronze lips book weight on her living room shelves, and charming ornaments in neutral tones, including a framed ‘Love’ print featuring tiny bronze castings of one of her children’s hands and feet.
In the chic bathroom adorned with marble floors and gold mirrors is a his and hers sink, adding that touch of luxury every couple craves. But it’s the mini pool table found downstairs that likely steals the show for the kids. The family’s living room, decked out in warm reds and crisp whites, screams of snug movie nights wrapped in blankets. Meanwhile, their breath-taking outdoor area boasts a stunning hydrapool for splashing around.
The property, which is Kyle’s, is delightfully homey, which Lauryn and the little ones clearly treasure. Despite her single mum status and unwavering commitment as a loving mother, Lauryn confesses that it can be draining: “I have mum guilt, so I kind of overcompensate,” she reveals.

She manages a bustling calendar brimming with activities for her children, and says: “I don’t want them to feel like they’re missing out because they haven’t got a present dad to be doing these things with them.”
Expressing her gratitude for the support she receives, she says: “I was lucky enough to be awarded enough for, currently, 20 hours of childcare a week, which helps, of course, but with the comments I get, I think people think I have a full-time nanny. I don’t do anything for myself. Every day of the week is taken up with an activity and, typically, always in a different direction to the other one.”
She shares: “I want to give my children the best. They are both bilingual; they both speak Spanish. They do gymnastics, football, swimming, you name it, they do it. Kairo‘s football is an hour away, he trains for an hour and it’s an hour back – and I do that three times a week. I do everything I can to make sure they’re given the best tools in life. And I just feel… how hard it is all the time.”

In response to rumours about her potential move – there have been reports suggesting Lauryn is considering a relocation to Italy after his big move to AC Milan – she plays her cards close to her chest: “For the last year I wished to have the option to move abroad because, with all of the drama, I’d like a life reset, but I’m not sure how that looks for us at the minute or what that entails.”
