Coleen Rooney has given her 1.5 million Instagram followers a rare glimpse inside the stunning £20million mansion she shares with husband Wayne Rooney and their four sons. The couple moved into their luxurious Cheshire pad, known as High Lake Manor, about three-and-a-half years ago.

Coleen, 38, has now posted a photo showing off the home’s grand entrance hall, complete with an opulent winding staircase and a huge chandelier, leading to a cosy seating area and what appears to be the living room. She thanked Hyper Cleaning in her caption: “Thanks Hyper Cleaning for coming to the rescue while I was in the jungle. Fab as usual.”

The cleaning service is popular among celebs like Paris Fury and Peter Andre. It is reported that the Rooney’s paid £4million just for the land back in 2017. Their six-bedroom abode is set on 50 acres and features a football pitch, an underground tunnel, a wine cellar, a cinema, a sprawling swimming pool, bars, and a trophy room showcasing Wayne’s glittering career.

Memorabilia such as England caps, Manchester United shirts, match balls, trophies, medals, and man of the match champagne bottles are proudly displayed. The property is situated in the exclusive “Golden Triangle” area of Cheshire, a hotspot for football stars, reports the Mirror.

Inside Coleen and Wayne's home

Although their home is still standing, Coleen recently shared a shocking story about how Wayne once nearly set their house on fire. The WAG, who has been married to the football star since 2008, revealed during a chat on the Stick to Football podcast that Wayne has a peculiar habit of using a hairdryer to help him sleep, finding the gentle hum soothing.

However, this unusual technique almost backfired when he accidentally blew up the hairdryer while trying to take a nap. Recounting the close call, Coleen explained: “It’s a fan when I’m in the bed, but if not, it is a hairdryer. If I get up, if he’s still in bed I hear him get a hairdryer. Has he told you that it’s caught on fire before? The hairdryer is on cool, but one time he was cold, so it turned it to hot – and it blew up!”

In another part of the podcast, Coleen also discussed her super-organised approach to managing her boisterous household, admitting that she has a rota for almost everything, including who gets to sit in the front seat of the car on the way to school.

She joked: “It’s madness, it’s just mayhem all the time. We have a rota of who gets to sit at the front [of the car] going to school. Even though there is a rota, it’s just mayhem every morning.

“They just torment each other and it’s like a domino effect. It’s a lively house but it’s funny because everyone loves coming to our house, because it’s just entertaining. I grew up with two brothers, so I’m used to being around boys. I quite like the boys. Wayne would have liked a girl, and I think would I have clashed for a girl! Boys just get on with it and girls are more emotional.”
