“Dancing on Ice’s Ferne McCann Breaks Down in Tears, Says ‘I Said No More'”

Ferne McCann was left in tears on Friday’s episode of Lorraine as her daughter Sunday sent her a good luck message ahead of her Dancing on Ice performance this weekend.

Feelings were running high on the latest episode of Lorraine as Christine Lampard chatted with Ferne McCann and Brendyn Hatfield following their stellar stint on Dancing on Ice.

As they finished chatting, Christine unleashed a surprise for Ferne, saying: “Before you go, we have a little message for you. A very special message from a very special person, Ferne. Here she is.”

Moments later, a video popped up with Ferne’s daughter Sunday. Adorably, she said: “Hello mummy, good luck for Dancing on Ice this weekend. I hope you get through for next week. Love you.”

Overcome with emotion by the unexpected clip featuring her daughter, Ferne couldn’t hold back tears. She responded “I said no more tears! Oh, that’s such a surprise. Oh darling, thank you. That is so special.”

Interestingly, she admitted being stunned that Sunday was filmed at all due to her shyness in front of the camera, reports the Mirror.

Expressing her gratitude, Ferne beamed: “Oh thank you, that’s such a lovely moment!” As Christine noted the support Ferne has, she mentioned that her granddad, who is 94, might make it to her show too.

An elated Ferne shared: “Yes! He’s 94, he’s coming next week, hopefully, if we get through. It’s a full family affair and they are just all so, so excited and so happy. They love tuning in.”

Currently, Ferne and her skating partner Brendyn Hatfield are sitting pretty in fifth place on the leaderboard with a stellar score of 26.5. They’re gearing up for this weekend’s Movie Week, where they’ll dazzle the ice with a routine inspired by the Trolls film.

However, ITV audiences will be one celeb down on Sunday, as Chelsee Healey was the first to bid farewell to the competition.

A tearful Chelsee confided in her partner Andy Buchanan, expressing: “I feel, personally, there’s been a lot going on with me that I’ve been struggling with, so I couldn’t completely focus. I’m just really grateful, I’ve had the best time.”
