Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has broken his silence after a live tour date was cancelled following a red weather warning in Glasgow
Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood has addressed the cancellation of the Glasgow tour show due to Storm Eowyn. On his Instagram story, he informed disappointed fans: “Sadly, due to the red weather warning in place tomorrow, the Friday evening performance of Strictly Come Dancing The Live Tour will be rescheduled to Sunday evening, 26 January. Doors will open at 17.30 and the performance will start at 18.30.”
He added: “Original tickets remain valid for this show. If guests are unable to attend, they should contact their point of purchase for a refund. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”

Scotland is under a red weather warning from 10am-5pm, with forecasters warning of potential life-threatening conditions due to severe gales.
All public transport in the city has been cancelled, which could have made it difficult for fans to reach the OVO Hydro in Glasgow. In an official statement, the organisers reiterated a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, similar of that posted on Craig’s page. It read: “Due to the red weather warning in place tomorrow, the Friday evening performance of Strictly Come Dancing The Live Tour will be rescheduled to Sunday evening, 26 January.
“Doors will open at 17.30 and the performance will start at 18.30. Original tickets remain valid for this show. If guests are unable to attend they should contact their point of purchase for a refund. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”

Fans expressed their disappointment over the last-minute cancellation, with one posting on X (formerly Twitter): “Could have made this decision 5 hours ago.”, reports the Mirror.
However, others appreciated the prioritisation of safety, with one commenting: “Good plan. Tomorrow would not have worked.”
Earlier in the week, Wynne Evans, who starred on the 2024 series, discussed the tour and shared backstage anecdotes. During an appearance on The One Show, he mentioned: “It’s fun, you know, it’s just real fun, it’s absolute entertainment. Craig [a judge] is as rude as ever. He called me right, yesterday, he said that I was stompy and flat footed. Right?”
Wynne continued, laughing: “So I said: ‘Have you heard your album, mate, that’s stompy and flat if ever I’ve heard it!’ So yeah, there’s quite a lot of banter and he gave me a two yesterday, so I was absolutely gutted, just because I was a bit rude about his album!”
Wynne is joined by Strictly finalists Tasha Ghouri, Sarah Hadland and JB Gill on tour, alongside a handful of other 2024 Strictly co-stars.
