Drop everything now: Taylor Swift’s viral purple pickleball skort just got restocked.
The Grammy winner was spotted sporting the Popflex Pirouette Skort ($60) in a several-second scene from her #ForAFortnightChallenge video on YouTube Shorts in April, sparking a run on the dreamy tiered design.
“I was in shock. Pure shock,” the activewear brand’s founder (and a longtime Swiftie), Cassey Ho, previously told Page Six Style of the major moment, adding that since “Taylor loves princesses and castles and love stories,” she suspects she was “drawn to the femininity and the romantic-ness” of that particular style.
Swift wasn’t alone; within 15 minutes, the Pirouette Skort was completely sold out in her Digital Lavender shade, so Ho made the piece available for preorder. In the first few days, she told us at the time, “about 7,000” shoppers placed advance orders, even though their skorts weren’t estimated to ship until August.
“I don’t want to rush through anything; I want to make sure everyone who’s ordering the skort gets the same quality that Taylor got,” she said.
But it seems like Ho beat her timeline, as the lilac style was recently restocked and is currently available to ship immediately in sizes XXS through L.
More than 850 shoppers have left five-star reviews for the Pirouette Skort, with one self-proclaimed “obsessed customer” writing, “this is the best skort I’ve ever worn. I got it in black originally and now I have five colors.”
Another called it “incredibly flattering,” adding, “The little tie in the front really does snatch your waist. Neeeeed to buy in more colors once they restock!!”
While many of the other hues on offer were similarly wiped out following Swift’s video post, the skort is also now available in sizes XXS through 3X in black, pale yellow and two different shades of pink.
Swifties can complete the look with the matching Digital Lavender Corset Bra ($44), which the songwriter wore during rehearsals for the Eras Tour; it’s also in stock in most sizes, as is the more sleek and streamlined Twirl Skort ($54) Swift also sported while prepping for her series of sold-out shows.
“I think she placed an order — I don’t know when,” said Ho, who didn’t gift any of the merchandise to Swift. “And it seems like she must have bought a lot of things!”
