Paddy the Baddy and his family

Paddy Pimblett enjoyed a family day out at an attraction loved by families across the north west, including those from Liverpool. The professional UFC fighter and his wife Laura Pimblett took their twin daughters to Gulliver’s World earlier this week.

Huyton-born Paddy and Laura have been together since they were teenagers. Their adorable twins are called Betsy and Margot, they were born last year on April 17 last year. The family have since been on holiday together and celebrated many special moments.

On Instagram this week, Paddy shared a series of pictures from his trip to Gulliver’s World Theme Park. He said: “Boss day out taking the babies to Gulliver’s world they loved all the rides but then was scared of Father Christmas.”

Photos showed the couple and their children meeting Santa and on various fairground rides. Gulliver’s World is located in Warrington and has a selection of rides, attractions and shows to see each day.

On its website, Gulliver’s World states: “There’s so much to experience, from the wild rides in Western World to the thrilling rides of Smugglers Wharf. Gulliver’s Resort Warrington is a perfect family destination designed for children aged 2 – 13.”

Paddy visited as “Christmas at Gulliver’s” returned for another year. Families are able to enjoy Christmas rides, North Pole Express and meet Santa in his Grotto.

“Fans loved the update, as one took to the Instagram comments to say: “Family time is the most precious always lad.”

Another comment said: “Beautiful family dude” and further responses included “How bloody cute are they, I love the hair colour” and “How big have they got that’s mad living the dream.”

Announcing the birth of his daughters last year, the 30-year-old said: “17/4/2024 the day our lives changed forever. All worth it for you two perfect little girls Betsy and Margot Pimblett.”

When Paddy and Laura married in 2023, Laura shared snaps from the day on Instagram as she said: “Well I had the best day and night ever. Dancing the night away with my love. Thank you for everyone’s messages. We had the most insane day.”

Ranked number five in the lightweight division, the UFC star has been training hard at his gym and hoping for a big fight to come his way in the near future.

He has been left disappointed by the UFC not yet making a title fight with Ilia Topuria, who he had a face-off with after the Georgian-Spaniard beat Charles Oliveira to become lightweight champion in Las Vegas in June.

In an interview with JNMedia, Paddy said: “Me and Topuria’s got the storyline built in it’s all there. It’s half nice for me that he’s got the belt even though I don’t like him and I rather he not be a two-division champ, it’s better for me that he won it because if Charles had won I would have definitely had to fight someone else first

“But with Ilia having the belt it’s just a storyline that’s already set up and ready to go. I don’t know why it’s not already announced and made and written in a contract. We’ll see what happens in the next few weeks.”
