I’m A Celebrity star Joel Dommett has announced he is expecting a second child with his wife Hannah Cooper. In a post on Instagram, Joel posted a picture showing him holding his two-year-old son, Wilde, who is reaching to kiss his mum’s baby bump.
The joint post to Instagram was captioned: “Baby in mumma tummy. Hard to keep secrets with a toddler around.” The couple welcomed their first child, Wilde Cooper-Dommett in 2023 and have been in a relationship since 2016.
Hannah and Wilde will be joining Joel in Australia this year as he presents I’m A Celebrity Unpacked. The presenter said he’s “really excited” for his family to share the experience with him.
He told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: “This year I’m taking my family with me, so it’s going to be great getting home from work and being able to see them and Wilde learning how to swim and all of that stuff.
“I’m really excited for them to be there. Hopefully I can enjoy a bit of family time before I have to go to bed at 3pm in the afternoon.”
Many messages of congratulations have been sent to the couple after the announcement. Dermot O’Leary posted a red love heart emoji and former I’m A Celeb campmate said “congratulations” alongside two heart emojis.
Olly Murs wrote: “Awww huge congratulations guys” and Pixie Lott added “congratulations guys amazing!” The announcement comes as presenters and campmates have landed in Australia for the new series of the ITV challenge show.
Joel’s return to Australia was announced last month, with a social post which read: “Joel Dommett and Kemi Rodgers return as your I’m A Celebrity… Unpacked dream team. Join them and their celebrity guests every night on ITV2 to unpack the madness!”
2016 runner-up Joel Dommett will host the show alongside Kemi Rodgers. Joel Dommett said: “We’re back, bigger and better than ever! I’m beyond excited to be heading back down under with Kemi to bring viewers the very best I’m A Celebrity… action. It’s going to be packed with more jungle juice than a Bushtucker Trial smoothie!”
Kemi Rodgers added: “I’m so thrilled to be back in the Unpacked studio reporting live on all the latest jungle action. Join Joel and I as we unpack more exclusive behind-the-scenes content, raw reactions and epic jungle secrets than ever before! If you’re an I’m A Celebrity… superfan like we both are, you won’t want to miss it.”
The 2025 line-up has been officially confirmed after weeks of rumours. Excitement is building ahead of the start of the new season this weekend. This series features another impressive celebrity cast, with a range of stars from different showbiz background including soap actors and legendary musicians.
Among the stars confirmed for this year are Martin Kemp, Shona McGarty, Lisa Riley, Kelly Brook, Jack Osbourne, Angry Ginge and Alex Scott. The full confirmed list can be found here.
