Pregnant Hailey Bieber admits she’s ‘not super close’ with her family anymore: ‘I’ve built my own’

Hailey Bieber, who is expecting her first child with husband Justin Bieber, has shared that she is “not super close” with her famous family anymore.

In a recent interview with W magazine, the 27-year-old model explained that she has become very independent and has focused on building her own support system rather than relying on her past connections with her father, Stephen Baldwin, sister Alaia Baldwin, and uncle Alec Baldwin.

Hailey Bieber didn’t specify any particular reason for the distance from her family, though the past year has been challenging for the Baldwins. In February, Alaia Baldwin, 31, was arrested in Atlanta for multiple offenses, including simple assault and criminal trespassing, after an incident where she allegedly threw a used tampon at a bar employee while intoxicated.

Additionally, Alec Baldwin, 66, faced charges of involuntary manslaughter in relation to the 2021 shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of “Rust.” However, the case was recently dismissed due to misconduct by police and prosecutors, who had withheld evidence from the defense.

Hailey Bieber was reportedly upset with her father, Stephen Baldwin, after he made a cryptic Instagram post in February asking his followers to pray for her and her husband, Justin Bieber. The post raised concerns among their fans and led to speculation about the couple’s relationship. In response, Hailey addressed the rumors, stating on social media that the stories and “blind items” circulating on TikTok were “100% of the time wrong” and “made out of thin air,” dismissing them as coming from “the land of delusion.”
