Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda share a heartwarming family update that delights fans.

Robbie and Ayda have four children together

Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Williams have shared a family update. The couple have wished their son Charlie a happy birthday as he celebrates turning 11.

In a joint message shared to Instagram, the couple wrote: “Charlie …You are growing into the most magical young man, full of joy and a sense of adventure. Watching you explore the world and find your path is a beautiful thing to watch. We love you more than words can express. HAPPY 11th BIRTHDAY…May this be your best year yet! Love, us.”

A series of photos were shared of Charlie and the adventures he has experienced with his parents, one pictured showed him riding a horse on a beach, another showed him playing football and others were of his birthday cake with huge inflatable “11” balloons.

Robbie and Ayda got married in a ceremony at their Beverly Hills home in 2010 with friends and family in attendance. The 45-year-old American actress first met Robbie in 2006 when they were set up on a blind date.

The couple have four children together: Theodora Rose [Teddy], thirteen, Charlton [Charlie] Valentine, eleven, Colette Josephine, seven and Beau Benedict, five.

Robbie regularly shares messages for his wife and children on social media. At the end of March, the former Take That member marked Mother’s Day with a loving message.

He wrote: “To the mother of my children, and the one to whom my loyalty, honour and respect are joyfully given. You’ve told a story to yourself about your lack of strength. This has been true.”

He continued: “We fell in love not by chance, but by truly observing one another – feeling deep in our hearts the overwhelming, beautiful gifts we each bring to ourselves, to each other, and to the world.”

Robbie revealed in his heartfelt message that he didn’t marry someone “incapable”, he married someone “overqualified for almost every part of this human journey.” Although they met 19 years ago, the singer admitted the thought of Ayda “remains wondrous” to him.

Last month, Robbie’s wife shared an incredible video to Instagram of husband Robbie Williams paying tribute to their daughter for her birthday. The singer was not able to be with his daughter for her celebrations as he had touring commitments, so to make it up to Teddy, Robbie orchestrated a huge rendition of Happy Birthday.

Robbie recorded the birthday message in Helsinki at the Olympiastadion, which can fit over 40,000 people in. In front of the thousands of fans, Robbie put the camera on himself and said: “Let me tell you this, you are my favourite oldest daughter”, before panning his phone to capture the crowd as he kicked off a Happy Birthday singalong.

Thousands of phones lit up as the crowd helped Robbie celebrate his daughter’s birthday. The proud dad finished the recording by telling Teddy that he loves her.

Although Robbie wasn’t able to celebrate Teddy’s birthday with her, Ayda and the family made sure she enjoyed turning thirteen. Ayda spent time in New York to mark the occasion.

Outside of his family life, it has been an exciting year for the singer, with the release of successful biopic, Better Man, and the announcement that his new album, Britpop, will be released next year.
