Michelle Keegan has slammed “scruffs” after she discovered her car had been damaged. The actress is best known for her roles in Coronation Street, Brassic and Our Girl, among other projects.
On her Instagram story yesterday, October 15, Michelle posted a video as she traced a long scratch from one end of her car to the other. The mark on the car looked similar to one caused by a key. The incident left Michelle angry as she wrote “Hope the person who did this felt better about themselves afterwards. Scruffs.”
Sharing a video from the inside of her car, Michelle put her hand on her face while smiling and nodding, as she said: “Smiling on the outside, screaming on the inside, working out how not to let it ruin my day.”
The actress was confused by the seemingly intentional mark on her car as she asked followers “Why though?” with a head explosion emoji. Michelle, who has over 7.5m followers on Instagram, doesn’t often share personal insights into her life off-screen, with most of her social media account being from her time on screen.

Currently streaming is the final season of Sky hit show Brassic. The 38-year-old actress has starred as Erin Croft in the drama series since 2019 but it will be coming to an end after seven series this year.
She plays the role of Erin, who starts off as Dylan’s (Damien Molony) girlfriend but a lot of twists and turns lead to an emotional journey for Michelle’s character as the episodes continue to unfold.
Brassic, which also stars Joseph Gilgun, Ryan Sampson and Aaron Heffernan, follows Vinnie and his group of working-class friends in northern England who resort to petty crime while navigating friendship, love, and chaotic everyday life.
After filming wrapped in May, Michelle said: “Goodbye Erin … So finally the Brassic journey has come to an end (feels so strange saying that) and what an unbelievable 7 years it’s been.
“I feel so privileged to have been a small part of such a mighty show. From the moment I read the 1st script I knew this job was going to be special and it definitely was.

“Thank you to everyone who worked on the show over the years for the laughs, friendship and more importantly the memories… What a magical 7 years we had.”
In March, Michelle welcomed her first child into the world with Mark Wright. She captioned a post: “Together we have a new love to share… Our little girl. Palma Elizabeth Wright. 06.03.25.”
The two announced they were expecting at the end of last year in a snap featuring a picture of Michelle showing off her baby bump on the beach.
