Strictly Come Dancing’s Vicky Pattison sent love to one of her co-stars in a heartfelt message. The 37-year-old is partnered with professional dancer Kai Widdrington on this year’s series of the popular BBC dancing programme. The couple impressed the judges last week with a show-stopping charleston to A Little Party Never Killed Nobody from The Great Gatsby.
Last weekend’s Movie Week show was jam-packed, from Wicked Star Cynthia Erivo’s guest appearance to Lang Lang’s beautiful classical piano performance during the results show.
Sunday night saw Scottish presenter Ross King and professional dancer Jowita Przystal eliminated from the competition. The couple saw their time on the show come to an end following a dance-off against actress Balvinder Sopal and her partner Julian Caillon.
Both couples performed their routines from Saturday night for a second time. Ross and Jowita danced the paso doble to the theme from Thunderbirds Are Go, while Sopal and Caillon danced a foxtrot to The Way You Look Tonight from the movie Swing Time.

However, the judges ultimately voted in favour of Balvinder as she reached week four of the live shows. Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke chose to save the EastEnders actress and her professional partner. While head judge Shirley Ballas wasn’t needed for a vote, she said she would have chosen the same outcome.
After saying goodbye to Ross, the other celebrities are back in the rehearsal room ready to perfect another routine ahead of Saturday’s show.
On Wednesday, Vicky appeared on It Takes Two to talk about her upcoming routine. Her and Kai will be performing a samba to La Isla Bonita by Madonna for week four of the competition. Vicky wore a stunning burgundy dress with her hair loosely curled.
Vicky, who hails from Newcastle upon Tyne, posted a gorgeous photo of herself alongside her co-star Lewis Cope behind the scenes on It Takes Two.
Lewis, who is partnered with professional dancer Katya Jones, was born in Hartlepool, County Durham. Lewis and Katya are set to perform a foxtrot to L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole this weekend.
Captioning the photo of herself and Lewis, Vicky wrote: “North East Massive Took over It Takes Two tonight… just missing our @lavoixtheshow.”
She added: “Absolutely love being on this little journey with you @lewiscope… watching you dance is incredible, but you’re also just a really nice man! And I love ya!!! If you missed us tonight, don’t panic, you can catch it on @bbciplayer.”
Lewis commented: “Yes Vick!!! You are so lovely and I’m loving being on this journey with you too.” One fan said: “Both doing the North East proud.”
A second wrote: “Loved your dance last Saturday night it was amazing Vicky can’t wait for this weeks routine.” Another said: “Doing us Northerners proud.”
