Dianne Buswell appeared on The One Show earlier this week to discuss all things Strictly Come Dancing. The professional dancer didn’t dance with her celebrity partner Stefan Dennis on Saturday due to medical advice given to the Neighbours star. In line with Strictly rules, the two Australians were given a free pass to the upcoming live show this weekend.

The Strictly professional was among a star-studded list of guests for her appearance on the chat show. She was interviewed alongside Hollywood superstar Channing Tatum, known for Magic Mike and Blink Twice. Kirsten Dunst was also on the show, she appears alongside Channing in new movie, Roofman.

A description for the new movie on IMDB says: “A charismatic criminal, while on the run from the police, hides in a hidden space of a toy store. There, he adopts a new identity and becomes involved with an employee, beginning a relationship as unlikely as it is risky.”

Reacting to her appearance alongside the movie stars, Dianne posted to Instagram: “Little old Dianne Buswell from Bunbury Western Australia was just sat on the couch with Kirsten Dunst, Channing Tatum, Neighbours icon Stefan Dennis and Sir Bradley Wiggins, that’s madness that is. That was fun.”

When she was interviewed by presenter Alex Jones, Alex said: “Dianne, obviously we have to say a huge congratulations, because there’s actually three of you dancing isn’t there.” In response, Dianne smiled as she said: “There is three of us dancing.”

As other guests on the show looked confused, Alex announced “Dianne is expecting a baby”, to which Channing replied “I am not understanding” and Dianne said “What’s going on here.” After the confusion was cleared, Channing said “thank you for clearing that up.”

As the interview continued, Dianne told Alex: “Thank you so much. It is very exciting, very cool. And when I am out there, I often think I’ve got a little buddy just dancing along with us [Dianne and Stefan] it’s really cool, a magical experience.”

Opening up about rehearsals, Dianne and Stefan told Alex and Vernon Kay it was going well, despite a “rocky” Monday. She teased “I think it is going to be a good dance for us.”

Dianne and Stefan will be performing a Charleston on Saturday night. Dianne said on Instagram this week: “Honestly, yes, from the bottom of our hearts we thank you for all your support and love and we are very, very excited to be back in the training room.”

Sharing a photo from training, Dianne told followers: “We genuinely did not stop for air today, there was no social content made but we are so happy to be back and working our butts off to create a fun number for you all.”
