Kristina Goodsell has shared an insight into her personal life and whether she will be thinking about having children in future. Kristina made her mark on Married at First Sight 2024 when she tied the knot with Kieran Chapman in the first episode of season nine.

The 31-year-old spoke on the show about why she would make the perfect partner, saying: “I’m funny, full of energy, positive, and I’m a vibe.” She added: “Something I do that my partner might not like is being too loud. I hope my new partner is ready for the ride of his life.”

Kristina, who is a dog walker and animal carer, split with Kieran and has previously confirmed she no longer speaks to him. A TV source told MailOnline: “The cast were stunned after discovering Kieran had moved on so soon after filming for him and Kristina finished.

“Kieran had expressed how difficult committing to a new relationship was going to for him after he was betrayed by an ex-girlfriend but he met someone new shortly after his marriage ended. He was very emotional seeing Kristina handle the fact he was seeing a new woman given he still cares about her feelings.”

Fans of Married at First Sight still take interest in Kristina’s life, even following the split and she has over 210,000 followers on Instagram. Her latest Instagram Story was in response to a fan who had asked “Do you want kids in the future?”

Kristina responded: “This question has come up a lot! Thank you to everyone who has asked questions, sorry I haven’t got round to them all.”

She added: “I will not be having children, I’m opting for a full hysterectomy, at my last attempt to live a ‘regulated’ life. My life is wild (I have calmed down) but I live in the moment and a child just wouldn’t be right for me.

“I have thought long and hard about this, three years to be precise. I am beyond grateful for the strong women in my life who have children that allow me to love them as they were my own, I was made to be the fun aunty and I am more than happy doing so.”

She finished off her message to fans, saying: “As my dad would say ‘1 ‘Stina is enough'”, the TV star further added “Unfortunately nothing will change my mind so please respect my choice.”

Kristina is a Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) advocate. PMDD is a very severe form of premenstrual syndrome (PMS).

It causes a range of emotional and physical symptoms every month during the week or two before your period. It’s sometimes referred to as ‘severe PMS’.

PMDD happens during the time between when you ovulate and when your period starts. This is known as the luteal phase of your menstrual cycle. For most people, the luteal phase lasts around 2 weeks. But it can be longer or shorter.

During this time, you may experience PMDD symptoms every day. Or for a few days within the phase. Many of us may experience symptoms of PMS. But if you have PMDD, these symptoms are much worse.

The MAFS star has a TikTok page where she often discusses PMDD awareness. In a video on her account, she says: “I have struggled with my periods for as long as I can remember, I think as soon as I started them.

“And my PMS symptoms have been very, very drastic over the years and I’ve been on every single different type of contraception, going from the average combination pill to implants, to coils, to mixed hormones.”

She went on to say she’s really struggled and has never felt “fully at one” with herself. In 2014, she spoke to doctors after researching and finding PMDD but they pinned it down to depression and she tried a range of anti-depressants.

Explaining how her symptoms only got worse, she said as she got older she had “heightened emotions, very erratic behaviour, erratic thoughts and feelings, very over stimulated, extreme sad thoughts, extreme bloating.”
