Trent Alexander-Arnold’s girlfriend has sent a message to the Real Madrid full-back as he celebrates his birthday. The former Liverpool star marks his 27th birthday today, October 7.
On Instagram Alexander-Arnold’s girlfriend, Estelle Behnke, shared a rare picture of the two together. The image showed them kissing in the sea as she captioned it “Happy birthday to the most amazing boyfriend”; a second photo of them wearing snorkels as they posed for a photo had “proudest” written next to it.
It has been an eventful year for Alexander-Arnold, who was officially unveiled as a Real Madrid player on June 12. The two-decade-long stint Alexander-Arnold spent with the Reds came to an end as the right-back decided to leave Anfield after his contract ended on June 30, 2025.
Speaking about his feelings at the time, Alexander-Arnold said: “I think first and foremost, I want to say it’s not an easy decision and there’s a lot of thought and feeling that has gone into it.
“I’ve been here 20 years now, loved every single minute of it, achieved all my dreams, and achieved everything I’ve ever wanted to here. Giving everything day in, day out for 20 years, I’ve got to a point now where I feel like I need a new change, a new challenge for me as a player and as a person. And I think now is the right time for me to do that.”
As he was unveiled as a Madrid player, the England international spoke fluent Spanish to the press. Alexander-Arnold, who has joined the Spanish side on a six-year contract, said: “I want to show Real Madrid fans how I play. I do realise I’m signing for Real Madrid; the demands are high, but I’m going to give my all to the team and Real Madrid fans.”
Alexander-Arnold’s family and partner were in attendance for the special day and have been supporting him ever since, often attending his Real Madrid home fixtures. Sharing a picture to Instagram at the time of his Real Madrid announcement, the footballer’s girlfriend Estelle wrote “so proud” alongside a picture of her and Alexander-Arnold walking as she put her arm around him and he sported a full Madrid kit.
Alexander-Arnold has been dating model girlfriend Estelle since October 2024. She has over 150,000 followers on Instagram and has shared several snaps from trips the two have had abroad. While she rarely posts pictures of her boyfriend, he is often tagged in snaps from stunning locations. This includes a recent trip to Beverly Hills and to a remote part of the Utah desert.
The Premier League winner was booed by sections of the Liverpool crowd in his first game after announcing he would be leaving the club. He was given a warmer reaction when he played against Crystal Palace in the final game of the Premier League campaign. The club has today posted a happy birthday message to the boyhood fan and player.

Liverpool FC wrote “Happy Birthday Trent Alexander-Arnold”, alongside a confetti emoji. Alexander-Arnold’s Liverpool career ended on 354 games, 23 goals, 86 assists and eight major trophies.
