Abbey Clancy has revealed she doesn’t understand why she’s “with” her husband, Peter Crouch, following his “offensive” move in bed. During an amusing conversation between the former footballer and his wife on a recent episode of The Therapy Crouch podcast, the celebrity pair discussed their sleeping arrangements.
Peter admitted he couldn’t recall whether he’d used his orthopaedic pillow the night before, sparking a lighthearted (and somewhat relatable) disagreement about sharing the marital bed.
The 39-year-old model, who married Peter in 2011, disclosed that he did have the item, and had actually instructed her to “get off” him during the night. She then branded the remark “offensive”.
Abbey said: “You did have it last night because you told me to get off you. Do you remember saying that to me? In bed last night. Can you just move over? I hate it; it’s so offensive that.”

He replied: “Do you know why? Because the cat is taking up so much room, then you’re coming towards me, and I don’t mind you like being next to me; it’s nice, but like, not when I’m on the…right at the end, so my…feel my head is on the side table.”
Abbey then questioned why her husband wouldn’t shift over, proposing he establish “how far you wanna go”. She would then “come close to that”, but if he continues moving over, it’s his “own bloody fault.”
It was then pointed out that the pair tend to have large beds, to which Abbey noted that the problem with such a set-up is that there can be space between them. Peter responded that they “didn’t last night”.
She followed up by revealing the couple came home one night, only to find their children had been put to bed in their bed, so they decided to sleep together in the single bed. Peter amusingly replied: “I don’t even remember that day, but I’m sure it was lovely.”
Abbey concluded: “God, I don’t know why I’m with you.”

In other news, Abbey revealed on another episode of the podcast that Peter had been sneaking off to enjoy his “new love” in the mornings. It turns out that the former England player has started a new hobby.
The 44-year-old has taken up tennis lessons after initially taking their daughter, Sophia, for training. Peter, who’s also a fan of padel (another racket sport), admitted that he’d caught the “bug”.
Abbey described how she’d wake up on holiday to find that Peter had already left to pursue his new sport. Not only that, but Peter has also joined a tennis club at home and is apparently in a competition.
Speaking about his new hobby, Peter noted that he’d decided to start lessons after taking Sophia. He added that, having “got the bug”, he also began seeing improvements in his game.
