Stacey Solomon is in disbelief as she shared a “dream job” update. The 35-year-old has appeared on our screens regularly through the years after she shot to fame on The X Factor in 2009. Her likeable and outgoing personality has made her a popular character and she regularly shares aspects of her life to her followers on social media.

It’s been a busy week for Stacey as she shared several snaps of her preparations for Rose’s fourth birthday on Thursday. Stacey was over the moon as her daughter had requested a Harry Potter-themed birthday bash.
Stacey decorated the house and kitchen table into a show-stopping display, filled with Potter themed decorations. She even baked Rose an impressive cake.
Sharing a reel of baking the cake on Instagram, the mum-of-five said: “Rose’s birthday cake. I’m not a baker, clearly, but I know Rose will love this so much almost as much as I love the fact she wants a Harry Potter birthday. Proud of this one.”
Stacey and Joe released their own fly-on-the-wall BBC series earlier this year, called “Stacey & Joe”. The programme follows the lives of the couple and their family as they document the highs and lows of life, juggling work, play, parenting and their ever-growing menagerie of pets – four ducks, four ducklings and two dogs.
In the opening series, viewers watched across six episodes as moments from the life of Stacey and Joe were shown to millions. Special moments included Stacey winning an NTA, to the couple navigating Joe’s ADHD diagnosis and their son receiving his GCSE results.
The couple invited cameras back into Pickle Cottage for a second series which premiered on BBC One last month. It features some very special and monumental firsts for the family.
This includes Belle’s first day of nursery, a permanent Valentine’s gift that leaves Stacey in a fit of giggles, all of the little ones learning to ski, and Zach’s 17th birthday.
Speaking ahead of the series airing, Stacey said: “I really hope you enjoy it. It’s a bit of a sweet series for me because loads happens. We have got some amazing memories and a few little things so I can’t wait to watch it back. I really hope you love it. I hope it makes you smile and it brings a little bit of light and happiness.”
